Oh Look, Krill!

Oh don't worry. Whales don't eat clownfish, they eat krill.

Dear Science

We’re in a rut. It’s not doing any favours to our already rocky relationship. You’re starting to get dull and boring, and I don’t find you as attractive anymore. Even the little things that you try to entice me with, the trainings, the new fangled techniques, the new science discoveries, it just isn’t exciting me as it used to.

I think that we need a break, you and I. Or maybe we should move our relationship to a new place. A place where we can be happy once more. A place where I can fall in love with you again and remember why I fell in love with you in the first place.

I miss the exciting times we had. Now, I just can’t look you in the face without wanting to punch people. Why has it come to this? Where has that spark gone, my love? I want you back, I just don’t know how.

I still love you, but I don’t know for how much longer.

Loving you always (I hope),

Went Tea Shopping

Despite all the talk about coffee, I’m primarily a tea drinker. That’s actually my choice for caffeine, and my favourite kind of tea is Earl Grey. When I discovered that  my personal stash of Earl Grey tea in the office is down to only a week’s supply, I had to go out and get more.

While at the supermarket, I saw that they’d changed the packaging for my usual Waitrose tea. Then I saw the Russian Earl Grey, which I’ve never tried before.

Earl Grey Tea

Stocking up.

And We’re Live! – A brand new blogsite, same old crap.

After years or debating, it wasn’t until I discovered that I haven’t been able to autopost my blogposts to Twitter easily that I decided to say, “Screw Blogger, lets go with WordPress.”

I’ve imported all my posts from Blogger to the new blog.

For anyone who’s interested, I’ll be be blogging from lookykrill.wordpress.com. The Blogger address will be decommissioned as of now. Do update your blog roll or what not, if you guys still do that.

Out for lunch

I walked out for lunch today, instead of taking the train out. It was warm and bright but still comfortable enough to walk.

There wasn’t anyone about yet. The path I took had a lot of greenery. You can hear the cicada buzzing, birds tweeting and even butterflies.

I wonder if anyone actually stop and take note of the things you see alon the path.

There were barely any cars on the road, reminding me of the suburb I lived in uni. It smells like summer too.

I don’t get to head out to lunch and enjoy nature at the same time, as often anymore, so I’m enjoying it when I can.
