It's the beginning of September and it feels like we just had the New Years sometime last week. Time flies doesn't it?
Everyone in Singapore is celebrating Teacher's Day, one way or another. I'm celebrating it by not making a list of the teachers I hated through school. See what a good thing I'm doing?
Anyway, school's supposed to start next week but the modules and the schedules aren't up yet. I've not done any stationery shopping as of yet but at least my netbook's fixed and I have an ultra-portable gadget for school (and fun) again. The stupid keyboard was busted. This seems like a pattern for me, getting a HP computer with a busted keyboard. My first laptop was also a HP that had a busted keyboard just as the warranty ended. Totally sucks ass. But I digress. I'm actually excited about school. I doubt there'll be exams for the modules that I'm taking this semester; just heck of a lot of assignments. Assignments, I can totally do; I'm just worried that I won't be able to juggle school and everything else. Other than work, I have a somewhat busy social life too and I really don't want to give that up.
With no exams, it means that I don't have to worry about not doing NaNoWriMo this year. Yay!
Work feels like it's moving forward but I think that's just mostly because I just got over a few weeks of things not working the way they're supposed to. It's not so bad after you get over that hump.
To sum up, for the next three months, I've got work, school, assignments, writing and socialising to look forward to. What are your plans for the last quarter of the year?
