Oh Look, Krill!

Oh don't worry. Whales don't eat clownfish, they eat krill.

1. Not having fever anymore. Still with the coughing and the runny nose but no fever.

2. A good, spice filled lunch.

3. Having a bottle of cough syrup in the office for those times I needed relief for the throat.

4. Counting down the days to next Wednesday.

5. A rough idea on what to do on the 9th.

End Of April Already?

April marks the anniversary of my blogging adventures. It's been five years since I first set up a blog. It's amazing how fast time flies. I want to come up with something witty to say but due to me being ill over the weekend, I've got nothing.

Anyway, April is coming to an end and a third of the year will be over. Have you reached your goals that you set for yourself? Me, I didn't set any. That way, I won't disappoint myself.

The beginning of the year hasn't been that great. The number of times I've fallen sick in the past four months is equal to the number of times I fell sick for the whole of last year. My immune system has been wonky lately but I think that' due to the amount of stress that I've been handling. Juggling school and a job will do that. It's my first semester and it wasn't easy. I just hope that the following semesters will be better.

Next month will bring good things for me I hope. Important people in my life are come back home for a visit and I'm looking forward to it. Time to take a break and relax. Time to catch up with old friends and a loved one.

I just hope that by then, I'll be totally healthy again. It sucks being sick I tell you.

PS: If this post makes less sense than usual, blame it on the not being healthy.

Non Sequitur #6

My attention span, it's so damn short now. I can't do more than flip a few pages on any of my books before I want to watch some tv.

I'm not that much of a tv person ever since I started working but lately, tv shows are all the things I want to watch.

I can't have enough of coffee or caffeinated drinks. Even if it gives me weird dreams and giving me unrestful sleep.

Is there a word called unrestful?

I wonder if Fair & Lovely works.

I'm in sore need of a facial treatment. I should call my beautician.

I want to eat a cow. Or a kebab. Or better yet, a cow kebab!

The writing thing. I miss it. I'm so out of practice that cranking out 2k+ wordsover a span of 3 days was actually difficult for me. Well, I blame it on Dean Winchester for distracting me from my task. Also, he's very whiny this season but that doesn't mean that I don't find him hot. I still do and will always do.

Winchester gospel.  *laughs, laughs, clutching the belly with tears of mirth running down my face*

As much as I like reading fantasy novels, I can't write it. Unless they're MY fantasy that is.

I think I'm drinking too much coffee but I don't care.

1) Bringing lunch from home, a wonderful homemade lontong, complete with a whole egg, sambal and spiced dessicated coconut (serunding).

2) Fought temptation to walk all the way to the other cluster of buildings and get myself a Starbucks chai tea latte.

3) Having Twinnings Earl Grey tea from my own stash in the pantry.

4)Some quiet time before everyone comes back to the office after lunch.

5) Not having class this evening.

I Want A Wii!

Actually, I’ve seen this video a long while back when Kevin and Alex were talking about it on diggNation. I’m thinking about getting a Wii set if I have enough funds left over paying for my tuition fees in a month or so.

Anyway, I agree with this video. Guys should really get a Wii Fit set for their partners.

The expression of the guy at the end of the video is priceless!

I’m Still Alive!

I know there's been a dearth in the postings here over the past few weeks or so. I blame it on the exams and the need to study for it, even though it was an open book exam. So, now that exams are over and I'm having Spring Break (or what ever it is they call it here), I have more time for this blogging thing. I hope.

I have to catch up on my GiST list since I'm so way behind.

Anyway, I've been catching up on my tv series, like Dexter, Bones, supernatural and Criminal Minds. To say that I totally enjoyed myself would be a severe understatement. Nothing like bumming at home with my computer, endless supply of caffeinated drinks and snacks.

There was some book store going, book fondling and book purchasing. There was some writing done too, much to my happiness.

The only damper is that I have to go back to work today. If only I get paid to stay home and watch movies/tv all day…
